the symbolism of locks

from the trees
you me
walking
over stones
to the beach:
15 rastafarians buried to their necks
at the edge of the sea
no: rocks seaweed covered
this sand undisturbed
light leaking from a moon
look
footprints yours
shoeprints mine
turning back
yes turning back
though there's no indication
that gravity has been stolen
look
footprints yours
shoeprints mine
you me
walking
over stones
from thebeach
into the trees
face
