3 poems about an aquarium

1
i was impressed by the size
of your aquarium
and the variety of fish within
what impressed me most though
was the fleet of small trawlers
which travelled back and forth
across the surface of the water
and the shanties sung in tiny voices
by their crews

2
the display of synchronised swimming
performed by tiny women was awe-inspiring
but i thought the dismemberment
of one of them
by a shark the size of a child's thumb
was excessive

3
i knew you'd gone too far
when your miniature krakatoa
(east of the sunken castle)
erupted
and set fire to your house
