he arrives home from being out and awaits an invitation

the door pushes your shoes
in an arc as i enter
i see your dress thrown over a chair
your underwear discarded
on the bathroom floor
your bedroom door closed
on these days
sometimes you call me
(i wait to hear my name)
female face
